HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY
Kalman & Leopold – Surviving Mengele’s Auschwitz
Special Presentation by the Son of Leopold
April 23 | 9am PST / 5pm BST
Presented by Lockdown University & The Jewish Literary Foundation
This Yom HaShoah, their voices rise.
In a global broadcast hosted by two esteemed UK organizations—The Jewish Literary Foundation, devoted to preserving Jewish history through the power of storytelling, and Lockdown University, a beloved virtual platform born from crisis that now connects thousands around the world—we come together to remember.
I will share the story of Kalman & Leopold: a harrowing true account of two boys who endured the unspeakable in Auschwitz, victims of Mengele’s experiments, survivors of the unimaginable.
On this sacred day of remembrance, I’ll bring you into their world. One held onto a dream. The other held onto him. Their bond became their lifeline. Their reunion, decades later, is nothing short of miraculous.
This is not just a presentation. It is an act of witness. A moment to listen to the past so we can shape the future.
Their voices reach out from the past—demanding that we remember, reflect, and never look away. Never again.
